Traffik Marketing co-ordinated The Pod by Pure Blonde to be a prominent feature at various music festivals throughout summer; Summerdayze in Melbourne, Summafielddayze on the Gold Coast, Future Music Festival in Brisbane and Future Music Festival in Sydney.
Traffik needed a production company who could supply all technical needs and co-ordinate the logistics of equipment to the various locations throughout summer. Scott Clayton of Innovative Production Services jumped on board and provided a seamless service of vision, sound and lighting.
The Pod is a large inflatable 25m x 15m structure. It contained a VIP area which had custom built bars, DJ booth and a huge shield in the shape of the Pure Blonde logo. All structures were loaded with blue and white LED lighting, giving the space a crisp, clean feeling.
Difficulties were faced working in a space so sensitive to weather conditions at an outdoor festival. Scott and the Traffik team took this in their stride and are all the more experienced because of it!
The Pod evolved from being a VIP brand experience into a constantly packed live space with well known International and Australian artists performing for enthusiastic crowds. A vast array of DJs and live acts across several genres of music played, including a special DJ set by Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s sister).
The Pod received enormous positive feedback and left a lasting memory for all who visited.
