SPACE IBIZA welcomed the new year by holding their first ever Space Ibiza event in Australia.
Innovative Production Services provided the lighting, sound and vision production at Space Ibiza’s 20th Anniversary celebration.
“The Space Ibiza party was offering something that little bit different to the other Australian festivals – with names like Tiefschwarz, Derrick Carter, Camilo Franco, Jonathan Ulysses, D Ramirez, Smokin Jo & Pete Tong, Space Ibiza was targeted towards a more discerning, mature and maybe even more musically educated crowd.”

The main stage featured 24 Turbosound Flashlight cabinets along with 24 TSW-712 single 21″ Subwoofers powered by Crown amps along with the newly acquired Lab Gruppen PLM1000Q amplifiers. Dolby Lake processing was used system wide with a DLP controlling the Flashlights and Downfills. Our new Allen & Heath iLive T-112 digital console handled all input and output duties along with making life easy for the crew with a simple piece of high grade CAT5 cable run to FOH for the digital multicore.
The lighting system fit the bill of amazing and visually stunning by combining the following components: VariLite VL3000 Spots, VL2500 Washes, Martin MAC TW1s, Atomic Strobes w/Colours, StageBar 54Ls, Molefay 8 Lites, Source Four Junior Profiles.
The visual component was based around 12 Martin LC Panels and an Arkaos Media Server.
All these lighting and visual components were controlled via Artnet from a GrandMA2 Ultralight Lighting console.
