We recently got to take our ‘App Wall’ tile system out for a spin on the GE Decoding Industry Event held in the Foundation Hall at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. With the client looking for a complete technical and artistic solution, we were able to extend the screen into a dynamic backdrop and set that filled the entire width of the room!
The ‘App Wall’ system is something we designed in-house and offers the most impact when projected on with custom-made content as was the case for this project. The ‘App Wall’ tiles can simply be lit using wash lights or gobo projection, they can have photos and stock content projected onto them or you can go for the ultimate solution where the content is mapped and programmed in to the show so they form part of the set and play an active role.
We were delighted to deliver a fully digital canvas for this event, tying all scenic elements together with the show content. With a masked 4 projector blend, fed from our Barco E2 4k vision switcher we could place any piece of content anywhere we desired on the backdrop.
