Belle-Laide Events, host of the recent RSVP After Dark Party and an Australian Event Awards finalist for Event Manager of the Year, produced a corporate centenary celebration at Sydney Town Hall.
The Sydney Town Hall is treasured as one of the grandest surviving buildings in Australia.
The brief for Innovative was to compliment and enhance the building’s classic architectural features and deliver an elegant and stunning light show.
Vari-Lite VL3000s ‘painted’ the side walls with amazing gobos and colours while VL500s bathed the stage with a glorious tungsten colour wash. Martin StageBar 54Ls lit up the Grand Organ with a 5-colour LED wash and MAC 700 Profiles and MAC TW1s lit the stage. All this lighting was controlled by a GrandMA2 Ultra-Light.
As well as the lighting component, Innovative provided a custom designed sound system to cover the dance floor and dining area to deliver an amazing sound experience for both the speeches and the 6 piece band. Turbosound Floodlight speakers and an Allen & Heath iLive (dual FOH and Monitor link) system contributed to another exceptional show.
