Venue: Simmer on the Bay

The 2008 Telstra Ballet Dancer Award was held at Simmer on the Bay, a rustic and diverse venue situated on the waterfront at Walsh Bay.

The prestigious award was presented by Sarah Murdoch, who is the international ambassador for The Australian Ballet. The well deserved recepient of the award was Kevin Jackson, who also received a cash prise of $20,000.

Innovative created a clean, crisp atmosphere by up-lighting the heritage building in a bold yellow. All other technical production was also supplied by Innovative. The performance of the night was a duo aerial ring act provided by Aerialize.
